Job Summary/Basic Function

Morning Show Co Host
Liberty University radio station WRVL “The Journey” is looking for its next morning show co-host for its award-winning Morning Journey. The Journey was a finalist for Christian Music Broadcasters Medium Market Station Of The Year in 2017. The Journey network of stations launched in December of 2014 and has already enjoyed tremendous growth. As a member of the Journey team, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoy competitive pay and superb benefits. Minimum Qualifications

Mature and well-developed communication skills expected. Excellent organization skills a must.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Photoshop and audio and video editing software a plus.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to communicate concisely and clearly
Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates (including MC experience and skills)
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects and requests
Excellent overall computer skills.
Mature character and communication skills overall problem Solving
Intuitively able to reason through problems, analyze information and events, and apply objective and calm judgment in order to solve problems of a routine and complex nature in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Occasionally required to travel for professional development and other station-related needs

Preferred Qualifications

Four-year college degree preferred.

Work Hours

Morning show hours are normally 4::30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Hours outside of this time may be required depending on event schedule.
